At the Sourwood Inn, we use the freshest and most Farm Direct Dining ingredients possible! Produce, protein and dairy products are sourced locally to create our popular menus.
Breakfast and evening meals are enjoyed in our Arts and Crafts fireside dining room. During warmer months, our outside dining is complete with mountain views, a fire pit and fountain.

Sourwood is known for our bountiful breakfast buffet. You’ll always find plenty of fresh fruit, homemade granola and a daily savory option. From muffins and breads to sweet and savory entrees, our daily buffet gives you plenty of options. With advance notice we can easily accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please contact us ahead of time about specific requests and requirements.
Sourwood Bed and Breakfast began its life with a desire to share the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains with a memorable dining experience. This vision continues at the Sourwood Inn, where you will find unpretentious hospitality and a relaxed fine dining experience. Check out our current dinner menu served Thursday through Sunday, along with our ever-evolving curated wine list. Advance reservations are needed to dine with us as we have limited seating.
For the month of December, we will be serving dinner from Thursday-Saturday
Once you arrive, you will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine. You can enjoy this treat in your room or in the many common areas and patios that have breathtaking mountain views. Our refreshments include sweets, signature spreads, savory canapés and bites that are chef creates daily along with a daily specialty tea. This is such a special time to relax and enjoy our new savory options after a busy day of hiking or traveling.
