For a decade now, I’ve had a single passion: to produce beautiful cuisine. I love working with seasonal products and I believe that local ingredients nourish a culture.

We are excited to introduce TJ Centanni, Sourwood Inn’s new Executive Dinner Chef.

Having grown up just outside of New York City, TJ owes much of the inspiration for his culinary career to a variety of cultural influences. It was there that he gained a deep appreciation for experiencing regional history through cuisine, from hole-in-wall establishments to fine dining.

TJ is a Culinary Institute of America graduate, whose career has included work in local restaurants Calypso St. Lucian Cuisine and Lex 18.

He and his wife Brittany have lived in Asheville for three years with their dog and two cats.
